Lucid dreaming - Feeling of parallel universe?

So I am going to try to keep this as sort as possible.

I have been lucid-dreaming for a few years now, 8 to be exact.

Usually I fall asleep and find myself laying in bed, with the full knowledge that I am now asleep,
and the reason I know this is because my room is slightly tampered but always the same.

My rooms wall-paint is white and I have this very interesting looking punk-steam lamp on my dresser:

Spoiler (Click to View)

This light is always on until I shut it off, and sometimes I prefer to do this and go to sleep inside my dream,
cause the limitless options of activities can sometimes heavily impact my next days (such as extreme fatigue).

After so many years of being in this alternate reality, I am starting to realize that it is extreme static,
other than the choices I make myself, the actual world always stays the same.

I just woke up from a 16.5 hour sleep, and I robbed a bitcoin bank that somehow had turned physical,
they actual bitcoin are actual coins, but the price is still changing at the same rate it is online currently.

So when go to the store in this universe, you have to check the current prizes online which was now owned
by the government, and prices were totally depending on their opinion of the value of the coin.

This results in mass-slavery of the population through monetary means, as all crypto-coins were physical,
and if they decided that litecoin was useless, then you couldn't go to the store or trade them back into bitcoins,
and the prices would only increase depending on how much of a "good" citizen you were.

People were extremely desperate in this world, but still did not breakout in a war, but was convinced that adjusting to
the governments requirements were not only easier, but had proven to yield quicker results, so most people did this.

The little thing I have noticed is that I often go to the store in this dream-universe, and my mind remembers that
I do not need peanut butter at the store since I have it at home in my dream, but not in actual reality.

I don't know if this is super-interesting, but I do have an accurate memory of the first time I stepped into that world,
and I am still in the same one years later, cause I have tested this in my dreams many times, keep a notebook to compare results
and information retrieved from the dream.

what do you think ?

I would easily write a book about it, the only problem would have to try to not go into too much detail,
as I would quickly fill hundreds of pages.
Your almost at the other side. Dive deepeer.

Yes, indeed you have to dive deeper into this, I have had 2 lucid dreams in my life and they were amazing, not something I am hunting though

I wish I could rob that bank with you, let’s make a team lucid dream and rob a bunch of banks together!
I do not know about bitcoin but I'd surely like to hear what your methods are and if Dream Journal is really that important.

The importance of a dream journal is very individual, it all depends on what feels right for you.
The benefits of having one however, is improved motor skills and enhanced subconscious memory and general memory.

When we dream the body is going through a process, and I guess it makes sense that it benefits the mind to
be as informed as possible about this process, so that your dreams can later be interpreted and linked to certain mental issues needing resolution.

I have greatly benefited from it, as a person dealing with chronic pain and depression, I have seen a massive positive change in mood,
and I am able to make decisions that I can de-attach from my current state of mind, making decision without emotional debilitation.
This Interesting I always wanted to lucid dream

Same here, I totally get what you mean by it. I was practicing meditation and I've read about lucid dreaming. And I've had like 6-7 lucid dreams. It was the best experience ever. I've managed to do it just by performing reality checks. Finger counting to be precise. I have also had 2 OBEs but I couldn't move. One time I watched myself sleep, from one corner of the room and the other time I was just floating above my body on bed. It was really interesting experience which made me even more curious about such things. But I have found a really great ebook on lucid dreaming and I can share with the rest of you. I have just started reading it and it is pretty awesome and well explained, what to do, when, how etc.

A dream journal was what made me finally able to lucid dream almost daily.

The world has restrictions on accord with your own moral, it is everything you want it to be, but that Is also the problem.
At first I used to do anything my heart desired, but this complete power over everything made me feel extrmely lonely,
especially outside the dream-world.

I think that it can be dangerous if it is not kept in check, especially if you already have a mental-illness.
The reward system in your brain can be completely drained, so waking up and having to put effort into something
can actually seem like a nightmare in contrast.

I am luckily not a person whom need the feeling of being in control, as that is something I feel even if it doesn't seem so,
my desire to compete with someone to seem like a better person on the outside is equal to zero, I don't look down on people.

The world turned extremely dark without my knowledge when I was doing anything and everything, cause I assumed that
another dream would come along and the circumstances would be different, but I have to live with prior decisions in EVERY dream,
even winning over peoples trust in the realistic way even though I can have them say and do anything, I work for it.

Imagine life at it's full peak..
Then imagine laying dead in the arms of your enemy.
The closest I've had to this was an OBE. I was taking a nap at my GFs house and attempted to lucid dream. I remember watching myself sleep and actually walking downstairs to see her parents and moms friend sitting in the living room talking.
Dream Journals are essential for anyone wanting to near experience lucid dreaming.
