Opinions on Tezos?

Seems to be one of the candidates people have as an 'Ethereum killer'.

Added it as a small position to my crypto portfolio.

What do you guys think?

It's a buy for sure but it won't kill eth

Tezos seems to be having some good real world applications which IMO is much more important than whether you can mine or not. Then again, crypto isn't my speciality.

Most developers are ETH Devs, most protocols, all Dapps etc are developed on ETH.

Tezos can allow the same if not more than ETH but hardly any devs in comparison. (ERC20 projects etc too).
Personally I like it, been buying some for few months now
it's just another shitcoin imo, reminds me of stratis in 2017, and we can see how stratis went ever since
I own some XTZ. I'm currently bearish on it though. I don't expect it to go to far. I think it's overpriced tbh. I feel like if it wasn't for staking and Coinbase, it'd be sub-$0.50.
What a product and what a run it has been with XTZ!
DeFi on Tezos is primed to explode. They have a very nice and solidified DEX (quipuswap) in place and a few mature platforms and a few immature platforms for yield farming (Plenty is my go to), but they NEED more people there building, and as soon as that happens we're going to see that ecosystem explode.

I've been building on Tezos for a while now. I initially started building on Tezos because it was cheap enough, capable enough, and I just wanted practice. However, since I've been Tezos I've learned how astoundingly capable is actually is and I've really grown to admire it. It seems like it may finally be catching on right now, but in my opinion even at $7.50 it's only worth about half of what I believe it should be valued at. In its current form, it's more functional than most smart contract platforms.
