Nudity in entertainment/media

Do you think the explicit content shown on TV or advertisements have negative impact, how so?

What psychological changes have been made compared to previous generations? Is it healthy?

How would you deal with your children and control the content they see? Tablets/smartphones etc;

Overall what your stance?
I have always been against PDA and I think the nudity in entertainment and media has a big role in the spread of this practice. It also demeans women and increases objectification leading to increased abuse. It is extremely unhealthy to say the least.

I would not let my kids near phones, tablets and similar electronic devices. Call me old fashioned or whatever you want. I have seen most of the phases of these techs starting from vinyl records to the streaming platforms of today, from landlines to those footlong mobile phones and leading to the smartphones we have now. I think its safe to say that children should not be allowed to use such devices without supervision for even one second. I was involved in a research study which was centered around assessing whether there is a correlation between development of ADHD and screen time (the time spent staring at screens) among children and the results from that study astounded us. It not only increases the chances of developing ADHD but also affects the relationship of the children with their peers, teachers and family members. They flunk out of schools and colleges more, become more aggressive, prone to destructive behavior and end up having negative outcomes in their education as well as their careers.

Feel free to diagree with me.

Actually I don't like what I see in our local channels so much of adult content and Tv series always have topic about third party relationship.
The LORD is my strength and shield.

I actually strongly agree with this. Even though public programming has been getting slightly better with objectifying, a large amount of crime shows and even shows such as GoT show some pretty explicit shit.

I've seen multiple crime shows where a man who actively raped a woman/women were never caught, and I'm sure somewhere in the world this imprints the image in a teens mind that "hey, if they can do this and get away with it maybe i can too".

Plus I mean, a lot of drama shows now adays involve violence towards a mans significant other, and even though there are consequences in the show, it's not actively being recognized that what these people are doing are not remotely okay.
The only negative I think is the fake body expectations it sets, otherwise it’s up the parents in what and how to control what their children see.
I don't see any issues with nudity in the entertainment industry. The majority of people can handle nudity without instantly being traumatized for life or having insanely high expectations for when they're in such a position themselves. It can be harmful to people that do not have the mental capacity to realize that entertainment isn't real life.

Totaly agree.
As some people have said, I don't like that it only shows ''the perfect body'', which is a wicked and false version of reality.
I'm against nudity in tv shows and advertisements as it has a bad influence on children.
Nudity is always fine as long as it's girls

I actually agree with you word for word.

I'm raising a little girl myself at the moment, it's scary stuff.
