I am wondering if it’s even possible to hack (by hack I mean gaining access to your iphone without knowing the passcode) an iphone under these conditions:

1) No cables attached
2) You have access to that iphone physically
3) Without using a computer

I have been really confusing about what my friend did another day, he stick his iphone on the back of my iphone, and a few seconds later he got my passcode, is that even possible?
He told me that at the back of your iphone theres a chip and that chip is particularly vulnerable that he can use it as a window to get in.
