I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to wipe an iPhone 5S without signing in to iCloud. I forgot my two factor authentication phone number that is needed to reset the password and I basically can't do anything with the phone. It's pretty much useless. I can't install apps, I can't turn off or on Find My iPhone, I can't even sign out of the iCloud. If anyone knows any solutions, please let me know, thanks.

Call Apple and if the phone is yours, they will take 3-5 business days to overview your account information and then when your phone is ready to be unlocked, they email you a code (if you explain the situation about 2fa they'll understand) to a separate email (as long as you confirm you are the actual account owner which in this case I am giving you the benefit of the doubt), and then from there you can unlock it using the email code.
I recommend you do this process while on the phone with Apple though so they can walk you through it. I'm assuming you would of done that already though, so I am willing to bet you either bought the phone online eBay or Mercari or some 3rd party and they didn't unlock it or you are just simply like me and have nightmares with iCloud almost every month. |
