Hey, i have 3 Notebooks T490s with Supervisor Password.

How can i remove this? Bios battery will not work there MBR chip without power supply.

Nope unless you reprogram the chip or replace it.

I had one that had one. Gave up and set it on the ground outside. Ants got to it and somehow cleared the password. But then the laptop failed a year later.

There was once a time where removing the CMOS battery would remove the password and slowly I see that less often. That's why I always verify if the password is removed before buying any computer.

Lenovo has no chmos password, there is stored in eeprom :( i have buy a eeprom reader to try this next time
