I know you guys get pissed off at repeated questions but im overwhelmed by all the questions and answers on here so please forgive me.. thanks..

Question:

My dad has recently passed and has left an old ipod touch 5th gen on 8.3
Ive tried to get into it but it wants icloud id and pass which none of us have! i cant use his old pc because its all locked up with bitcoin random ware!!
He had this with him most of the time so we suspect theres precious photos we would like..
is there anything i can do? i know its an old piece of crap but it was his and it just might have special memories on there..

I guess if you aren't capable to acces a computer I recommend to go to like a phone shop and ask him to remove it. Maybe it costs money but when I came by he did it for free.

If you hopefully have acces on a computer you can just put the ipod to safe mode and link it in your computer, then start up itunes and click " recover ". I hope that's the name hahaha. You could just "recover" it with an update file that you can find an download anywhere. Only con is that it is fully reset.

So yeah I'll recommend to go to a phone shop and explain him the story. Maybe he'll do it for free!
