Is still possible hack facebook and instagram through bruteforce?

Hello everyone,
as far as I know, email account or facebook account can be hacked through social engineering techniques such as phishing or keylogger. These methods work as long as the target is not really smart and if he accesses his email daily .
Now I have seen that many hackers can hack social media accounts like instagram or facebook without victim's interaction and I did not figure out how they do it. Somebody told me they use bruteforce only and they can find such password in 2 days such as 10/15 days. Is that possible? Facebook and Instagram have many protections against this kind of attack but many accounts have been hacked by hackers. What do you think about guys? Is really possible?

I'd like to learn how to make a good bruteforce and I'd like someone point me in the right direction if possible.

Was never possible.

Those "hackers" just do basic credential stuffing, no actual bruteforcing.

What do you mean exactly? What does credential stuffing mean? How does it work?
I'm interested because I know that social media are difficult to hack and these hacker can break such security easily

if you know there email you can try searching leaked DB's for any potential passwords they might have, if the person is dumb enough then they probably use the same passwords for all sites

credential stuffing is going through database leaks and hoping that the user uses the same password
They got a new 2FA system wich recognize if you login from a different place and send you an SMS. Facebook/Instagram hacking thought password is nearly dead in my opinion.
Captcha, rate limit, 2FA, and IP checking - the 4 horsemen that reap your chances of brute forcing
