Hello, I've just opened up a Roth IRA 2 years ago, and I have a good starting amount of money on the account

I would like to spend around 5k max on stocks that are pretty solid, and expected to raise.

I have more than 5k but i would like to start around there.

Nvidia is overvalued but a good company, Buying if the stock crash (more then 15-20%, could be over days) between now and Christmas would be a safe and smart investment in my opinion. A more risky one would be to buy now and sell before it crash (at profit) and then buy again at low, but this strategy is more risky and timing is extremely difficult (Wouldn't do it).
