Even if you're planning to either scam them or blackmail, that sounds incredibly risky and illegal. Pretty sure if whoever you talked to was a fed or if they got caught and you got linked, you'd get charged and convicted even if you were scamming. People do go to prison for selling shit like oregano as weed to undercover cops.
