Watched it on Netflix. I found it quite childish and boring.

I noticed that most people who like it haven't seen other Anime.
I think it's overrated in comparison with other Anime's in it's respective category.

I disagree. I think the anime grows on you with time. I got hooked onto it after they showed Escanor.

I think its like most other good anime in the genre. Maybe you didnt like it coz you watched the dub. English voice actors in dubs usually suck. The only exceptions being DBZ, Rurouni Kenshin and Pokemon (all other dubs are shitty in my opinion).

bad character development wise and story wise compared to an Anime like One Piece and Naruto.

It's kind of similar to My hero Academia, the story goes too fast without any build up or development.
MHA is better however because the ideals and the perspective of villains are more thorough and get more scene time.
Also the powers in MHA is easier to understand.

Well that is because most characters in Seven Deadly Sins are centuries old at the start of the show/manga. Youre right about it not being on the same league as One Piece or Naruto. These two are/were on a league of their own.

I couldn't agree more, Each character has a story very well thought out and well written. The animation in S1 also was unparalleled.

The sense of Action, Humor, and Romance completes the story completely. It's able to capture a serious tone while also being goofy... perfectly. The story (If you got past Season 1) actually goes really deep into the lore of the world and the backstory for each set of characters, Meliodas and Elizabeth mostly. I believe their story to be a literary masterpiece, and this post to be blasphemy amongst weebs.

I couldn't disagree more, I believe MHA is already 10000x better than Naruto Shippuden (Original Naruto not included) same with 7DS, Naruto Shippuden was horrible and only reason anyone Actually likes it is because they probably enjoyed Naruto (original) and want to be a part of the Naruto fandom that insists it isn't ass, when really, it just is.

I actually was unaware that 7 Deadly Sins had a rep for being bad, I rather enjoyed the show if I'm being honest. It definitely took me a few episodes to want and watch more though but after I'd say season 1, I couldn't stop watching til I was caught up.

Although I can definitely see where you're coming from when you compare it to shows like Naruto and One Piece, those shows are nearly impossible to replicate in terms of the legacy they left behind but I think 7 Deadly Sins may have still been one of my more liked animes I've seen.

I first read Seven Deadly Sins before the anime came out and it grew on me, the started watching the anime for Season 1/2. That shit was good but the later chapters became disappointing. I finished the story but man, I lowkey thought that Ishh had a corny ending....

Still got love for the series tho

i love 7 deadly sins your right it is very simplistic/child like but its definitely more of a fun cartoon kind of anime to watch with your little siblings like if you compare it to other action anime yeah your gonna be disappointed but when you compare to like ouran high school host club or fruits baskets its kind of similar for me i think its the kind of show to watch while getting high lol
