FTX exchange founder Sam Bankman-Fried was in the top 20 contributors to Joe Biden’s 2020 US presidential campaign with a $5.2 million donation.

I want Trump to win as much as you do, but he's going to lose eventually. It's not up to us, it's a bigger force that wants Biden running as a president.

Generally people who are high up in power would be opposed to Crypto as it has the potential to reduce that power they have. We know Trump wasn't a Bitcoin fan and it would be within his power to pass legislation which could greatly effect the Bitcoin price. If Biden were to become president and one of his largest donors owns an exchange, he would be less likely to do anything along those lines, might even be encouraged to accept Bitcoin!
