As soon as I started trading new ones popped up again. I have said it once and imma say it again, don't be a fool. ALWAYS deal on site, always with a contract. Protect yourself from lowlife people like this and act smart. It's not that hard to pm me on site and verify it's me before proceeding to any kind of deal. Please do so and be careful in general.

I'm Stanley HF's helper bot. This OP (original poster) of this thread wants everyone to see this page and has elected to bump it to the top of the showthread listing. Since HF doesn't want a ton of LQP (Low Quality Posts) this is the best method of bumping your content. There is a small βyte fee for each bump. Any OP can bump any of their threads on HF from the linked icon on the top of their first post.
If you haven't already read the first post of this thread we encourage you to do so. Thanks, Stanley
I am the official HF Help Bot. You might get an automated PM from me with some helpful information.
Please read our Help Docs.

(Jul 16, 2021 08:29 AM)Johansson Wrote: Dont mind me asking but what's the point of this post? By the time one gets scammed it's too late to read this. If they go through with the deal without verifying it's you it means they never even would, again no point in this post. Alright, let me explain the purpose of this post for you. For the sake of the arguement, let's assume you are a guy that is willing to deal with me off site right? You talk with the impostor and he is trying to "close the deal" with you getting you to pay him quick, right? At this point, when someone acts this way you're starting to feel hesitant, correct? When we feel hesitant, what's our defense mechanism? Research. So, what's the first thing you are going to do in this situation? Most likely visit my profile, try to see if I am online. What if I'm not tho? If I am not online you are most likely going to take a leap of faith and say, ahh, oh well fuck it, Imma send him his money and whatever happens, happens, correct? I assume yeah. However, let's examine the EXACT same scenario and train of thought and imma switch up the story this time, so you can see the importance of this thread. Again, you are talking with the impostor, he is trying to close the deal, you're starting to get defensive so you want to do a little bit of research and you visit my profile and click on my threads, or LITERALLY my latest post and you see me bumping this thread MULTIPLE times, warning everyone NOT TO DEAL OFF SITE, literally, every fucking day. You are LESS likely to be scammed if this happens. That's the reason for that post. Regarding the " This post serves more as a defensive mechanism for you scamming from alt accounts rather than warning others" that's a mere, unbased accusation, therefore I won't dig deeper into it, nor I am going to use the classic excuse that everyone use in these kind of situations " I have money, I don't need to scam for X amount blah blah blah". My financial stability is more than good at the time, but I don't consider myself rich, yet. The reason I have never done this and never plan to do so in the future, is because I am here for business. Not scams. Scams are shortly-lived. Business however is not. Therefore, I am not going to ever spoil my reputation by trying to do anything as stupid as that, clearly for business reasons. So, no, this is not a "a defensive mechanism for me to scam from alt accounts rather than warning others". This is indeed a warning. By the way let me ask you something, instead of providing us with mere, unbased accusations, I would like some constructive feedback instead. So, please tell me, if you don't consider this a proper warning, what do you consider as a "proper warning"? Enlighten me, so I improve next time and be able to warn others better instead of making threads like these. I would be more than willing to hear your opinion on this topic, telling me how can I improve. |
