How to write an E-Book without Microsoft Word ?

I'm sorry if this is not the correct area to post this thread but I really wanted to write an e-book but I don't have Microsoft Word.
How else can I write the e-book ?
The e-book is really big so Notepad won't work.
Any suggestions are really appreciated !
Mate, you can use online Microsoft Word. It's completely free and has most of the features you'd need to write an ebook. If that doesn't give you enough features, try google docs.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!

Am I going to be able to save the document as a file if I use online Microsoft Word ?
Thanks so much for your response <3
Adobe acrobat is good for mobile creating pdf, otherwise just use a word processor and save as .pdf or use online converter to convert it to a pdf
Google Docs is free. Has a lot of options including PDF exporting.
You can always give Canva a try. I wrote one of mine's there, it allows some quick fancy design.

What are you writing your ebook about?
Will be trying Google Docs as it seems the easiest option. Thanks for all the suggestions !

Yes, there are plenty of export options included.

Personally I would use Word, but for some reason I hate the Web Version and much prefer Google Docs when in the browser.

Drawboard is also a nice, free application. I would probably use that if you planned on adding any illustrations, blueprints, etc. into the e-book. It’s also pretty easy to use on a tablet.

Like a few members have said, Google Docs is the way to go for free

Yeah, I used it and it works really, really well. I spent 1-2 hours writting my E-book but I will practice more with their tools and hopefully I will master it soon and be able to create really beautiful stuff 💯
