I am familiarizing myself with ettercap to do a man in the middle and everything works fine for me but when I do the arp poisoning between two devices that I want to sniff (in my case a test pc (victim) and the internet router) I see that it change the mac in the arp table of the gateway to the victim pc, but it stops navigating as if it did not bridge the machine where I have the ettercap. When I deactivate in MITM, the victim returns to navigate immediately. I am using VirtualBox with Kali Linux.
Definitely, when I put the machine in the middle with kali linux and ettercap, the victim stops navigating and I can't sniff anything.
Any idea why this happens to me?
