Ok, so I was doing some project today in the morning and wanted to continue doing it now, but my fucking word keeps saying that I need to put in an office production key. First time seeing this and I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion what to do.
Does anyone know where I can get the key for free (preferably) or do I need to re-install the whole office tools again?

Is your version legit or is it not legit? I am guessing not.... Have you thought about doing what you originally did? Or just use Microsoft Office Word for free online, until you get it working again?

Do you by any chance have access to a .edu email address or family member who does? Alternatively, you can buy one-- think I saw someone offering it in Marketplace.
Last resort, you can always pick up a key for like $20.

Not sure if this page will help, but this seems to be their official support regarding product keys.

If you bought it then contact microsoft support z I'd your computer is new then it makes sense because only the first year of Office is free.
I'd recommend buying it or getting a torrent for free
