only if you call it. You can try to doxx someone with a phone number but tracking, no only with calling the guy

There is tools that will send a SMS to the device and if user opens the sms message it will use the celluar towers to ping the location.
Google it, they do have a FREE one, but the user has to open sms and click ACCEPT
The paid version they just open the SMS message, no need to click anything

Its not an EXACT location but VERY close!

Send a spoofed text message to the user with his own number, telling him something convincing such as "Your phone number has been marked as inactive. Visit our website to extend your activity: <URL>"

The URL obviously is an IP logger.

However, the chance for you to get their exact location is not big. You will most likely get their 4G IP.
I do have an IP logger which asks for your location and looks very convincing, but I won't let that go for free.

That SMS app is what I've been lookin for, for hours lol. I used to have one I picked up on XDA. Any chance you could shoot me an apk? Or if there's a windows exe I've never stumbled across that'd be tits. Thanks.
