Bypass most VPN/proxy detection (very simple)

For those of you that have a static IP address, being IP banned/blocked from something is a major annoyance. What's even more annoying is when the same thing you're banned from has a good VPN/proxy detection system to prevent 'ban evasion'.
One of the easiest methods of bypassing such systems was uncovered when I realized that simply connecting to my iPhone hotspot worked nine times out of ten, and without sacrificing internet speeds.
This is fairly specific and doesn't apply to most situations, so I hope this doesn't come off as low quality. There are definitely easier ways out there that I'm not aware of. Just wanted to share a good solution to an annoying problem I faced for a while.
Mobile IPs are mostly seen as "clean", because sites like Instagram simply can't flag them
What you describe here is a known technique called tethering
You share your mobile IP with other people in your area and if one person does something dumb, they cannot ban the IP from the site or mark it as "high risk", because lots of other people would be affected
Using your mobile IP will not replace a (good) vpn or networks such as tor, as you will not be anonymous

A way that will work and will still allow you to use your VPN would be to use a residential or mobile proxy
There are socks sites, where you can get full access for almost no money and the IPs are mostly clean and residential
Mobile proxies are more expensive, so if you do not care about anonymity and/or don't want to spend any money, tethering is definitely a good way of circumventing static IP bans
But the only thing a website can see, when you chain multiple vpns/proxies etc is your exit point, so you could use tor + a clean proxy and every site will work perfectly fine, but as I said, you will only need that, when you want to stay anonymous
All my answers/posts are for educational purposes only. I am not in any way responsible for the actions you perform with the acquired knowledge.

Interesting concept. Thanks for sharing.
