As the title says, the question came to me so I'm curious.

Do you type your bbcode out yourself, or do you use the WYSIWYG / auto Text editor?

I personally type all of my bbcode myself and only use the editor for selecting colors.

Personally, I type it all-- I use to use short keys for some of the longer ones, but not anymore. I do use shorteys for ones including images though. Easier than copy and pasting from a wordpad.

if it's like [img] or [youtube] I just type em since it's faster, but sometimes I like to use the editor.

It depends on what I want to do. When I want to quote a whole post, I will not type it all myself. When I use a spoiler on the other hand, I will type it most of the time. It really depends on the situation.

It's mostly typed. I'm more used to html so for some things like youtube i use the editor.

I've always typed my own BBCodes. Ensures accuracy in my opinion.

Ever since I can remember, I always typed it by hand and now it would be hard for me to switch😁

So you also type quotes by hand? The whole pid stuff? Or only like single things you need, i.e. bold text or code?

I do not enter the exact quotes by hand, it would be terribly tiring, but all the rest I do😁

Alright haha, would have been kinda weird. I somehow only type some by hand and use the buttons for some. Being a programmer I have to type enough anyways.

Yes, the buttons make things a lot easier, especially when you write a lot, but from the beginning I tried to type almost everything by hand to learn the BBCode syntax (but despite all my efforts, I did not manage to learn the correct mention of users😂😂😂)

Usually if I'm making a larger thread or something to do with a sale I will type it all out then go back after I see what I've made and format it how I like but if it's just something short I'll type it out myself :) Good question though, still learning the formatting tags :P
