Hi Lounge,
This happened last year.
My friend DM'd me on Twitter. She was having an anxiety attack. I took a break from Twitter at the time, so I didn't get a notif. I promised her I'd be there for her when she needed me, which I wasn't. I logged back sometime later. She was fine, but I can't help but feel bad about it.
Got reminded of it because I was looping this song again:
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out, I call your name but you're not around
I need you right now, don't let me down
I don't think I've talked to someone about this entirely. Just wanted to let this out.
Cheers.
Regards,
Porky

I feel for you OP, but you can rest assured knowing that she turned out okay in the end.
It's normal to feel bad about something such as this.
Promising someone you'll be there at all times whenever they need you..
but then something happens, and you end up not being there.
It ends up weighing a bit on the heart and I feel that. But it's okay! She's okay! No need to worry or dwell on it now.

Hi,
We only talk via Twitter. (Along with a lot of my other friendlies. Lol.) I like to segregate my circles, for work reasons.

Hi,
We still talk rather regularly. Not much has changed. I guess she didn't mind? Lol. Whatever the case, that's done.
And I think I've got to stop looping Chainsmokers.

I feel you need better friends

At least in this case in the end she was better. Ive had friends in my life where that didnt end up being the case. It could definitely be worse man. Sorry you feel that way though
I think the other person should be understanding enough that people can't always be there for them 24/7 and to expect that is extremely toxic. You took a break for personal sanctity and you apologized when you got back. That should be the end of it in my eyes.
If you feel really bad about it, you should tell her honestly. Just say that you regret not being there more for her. Get her feedback on it. She will most likely forgive you, but if not then it justifies the feelings you have now, as they're more for you right now than for her, if that makes sense?

You should just stop thinking about it and smoke some weed.
OwO, I never thought before the meaning of this lyrics.
Quote:Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out, I call your name but you're not around
I need you right now, don't let me down
Now, I know.
The LORD is my strength and shield.

If she is still with you then confessing will most probably help you get the pain of your chest and make he trust you for what you are.
