What happens with the RAT if IP address is changed?

Hello guys!

For some reason my IP address changed and all my devices disappeared because if that. It's no worries since all of these devices were mine so I can easily just put it back again.

But when installing a RAT on a computer and if the host IP address somehow changes (like mine did). Is there a way to somehow get them back without having to install them all over again?

Can I switch the settings to the new IP address? :)
Most rats have the option to move IP's, but once you lose your IP and you didn't do it before this happend no, there is no way to get them.
Why not use a dynamic dns like No-IP?

Or, In my router I have a setting to designate one local IP to one device, permanantly.
fuck.

Just don't use No-IP! Find others

Use a ddns service, but not "No-IP" as others have already stated because it's a well known honeypot (at least back in 2016).
Use a DNS Bro, If ur IP Addy is dynamic and changes everytime u logon u will lose ur clients

Hello guys! Sorry for bumping this, but is DuckDNS any good and reliable??

I know that No-ip is not a good one, but what about DuckDNS? :)

Would I need to buy a VPN if doing this?

Before I just used my own IP address, since it's my own computers at home. But the dam IP address changes all the time... It changes every week...
The best way is to use a dns
This is the exact point of a dns also host on a rdp not ur main
If this is ur own network I feel like a DHCP server would make more sense than a dyn dns but thats like just my opinion man
If you were using your main IP from the ISP and it wasn't STATIC then your clients are gone forever now. Also it is very risky to use your main IP for that purpose. Try TOR [It's FREE, but most RATs doesn't have built-in feature] or VPN [PAID] service with dedicated ip and port forwarding option.
