First of all, you can’t unban banned accounts.
If your account is currently shadow banned, wait 8 to 14 days to see if the shadow ban got lifted.
If you don’t want to wait, get a new account and follow all the steps below before starting the game
———
Step 1: New account -
DO NOT register a new account on a flagged PC!
When you are Hardware Banned (HWID) this can trigger a permanent ban after a few games.
Go to the Blizzard website on another device (like your tablet, phone, spare PC, etc.)
DO NOT link a Blizzard account to an Activision Account on a flagged PC!
Link the account on another device (Web browser on phone, tablet, console, etc..)
To be extra safe, register the account with a different IP Address (if you know how to do this, should be easy, though.)
You can do this very easily by using your mobile phone network (Turn off the Wi-Fi!)
v-- Don’t login on your flagged PC before taking the following steps! --v
———
Step 2: Delete Blizzard registry files -
Enter ''regedit'' into windows search to open the Registry Editor:
DELETE registry folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\Blizzard Entertainment
DELETE registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Identity
———
Step 3: Delete Tracer Files & Folders -
Enter %localappdata% into windows search:
DELETE FOLDER: Battle.net
DELETE FOLDER: CrashDumps
DELETE FOLDER: Blizzard Entertainment
Enter %appdata% into windows search:
DELETE FOLDER: Battle.net
Enter %programdata% into windows search:
DELETE FOLDER: Battle.net
DELETE FOLDER: Blizzard Entertainment
Enter %documents% into windows search:
DELETE FOLDER: Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Sometimes %documents% does not locate the Call of Duty Modern Warfare folder
If this is the case, go to your "My Documents" folder manually, then delete the Modern Warfare folder
Locate where you installed the game and delete the following files (if applicable):
———
Step 4: Change PC Name & Restart PC
You have now successfully cleared your flagged PC from new shadowbans.
Load cheat & protection before you login! (If you're using one.)
When Blizzard Launcher asks if you want to Link to an Activision account, click 'SKIP FOR NOW' and make sure you follow Step 1 before starting MW/Warzone.
When you start MW/Warzone make sure you click on “I already have an Activision account.”
———
Step 5: IMPORTANT!
ALWAYS EXIT GAME BY PRESSING ALT+F4 WHEN THE GAME FORCE YOU TO RESTART AFTER UPDATE, I.E. "UPDATE REQUIRES RESTART"
If you don’t, the "restart" button can trigger a shadow ban.
Never switch to Warzone from within the Black Ops Cold War menu!
When you are HWID Banned, don’t start the game without loading the cheat & protection (again, if you're using one.)
Of course you can still get banned by playing too obvious.
Welcome back to the game and have fun!
