I’m actually curious as to how everyone is doing with online/zoom classes since the pandemic. I’ve actually seen from IRL friends that they find it frustrating that online classes are a waste of time and how it’s not working for them. Another group of friends took the year off and I on the other hand find it fine but I can see how people can complain about the online experience. So far it’s been a year and I think I’ve accepted it to be this long but not sure if I can do this for my graduate program though...
I want to hear your thoughts or your personal experience? Are you a fan of online learning?

I would say it depends on the course/major you take and you personally.
Some courses/majors were proven to be easier to teach online than IRL, but some others proved to be harder.
I can multitask now and cook while attending a class lol
Bleh
Exactly what flavoral said, with what I'm studying which is app development it's much easier to do it online via zoom rather than go to some classroom and work there.
I do IT as a bachelor degree. I signed for as much courses I could for the past semester cuz they were all online via Zoom. Managed to pass all of the exams. Now the summer semester is going to be the same, so again I filled my program with courses.
I'm a fan of online learning even before the pandemic, some classes are just useless to be visited physically. Especially ones where the professor is talking for 2 hours straight...
Pretty good considering I've had no school this past year :)

Agree with this. I always found it a bit confusing as to how people would find online school that much harder -- it affords you the ability to use online resources, notes, etc at all times.
I guess it just boils down to personality and the different ways that people learn.
It's just hard to take a math class online. It's mostly Youtube videos how to solve each week's problems, and the problems on the homework can be a little different and it takes a while to get a response from the teacher. All in all just a bigger fan of in-class math work.
It was actually pretty good. The online class I took during the lockdown was for the entrance preparations. The teachers from that educational institution were a lot better than the lecturers from my college. Maybe that could be the reason I enjoyed the online class and had fun taking part in those daily tests.
I quit college and I'm gonna work full time instead

Support has been a lot worse but I've worked harder as I don't need to go to lecturers in person. Lecturers are finally recorded and uploaded online, why wasn't my university doing this before?
I've had the highest mark on every coursework and exam I've done so far.
We are now given 24 hours to complete exams, they're all open book so I can use Google lol and get full marks easily lol.
Covid was a blessing in disguise for me, ruined the social aspect of uni but saved me big time on the educational side.
I graduate this year and going onto a masters in another subject. Overall, very positive!
After reading some of the comments I'm actually glad to have had the opportunity to go to school at all. It's sad to see the world in its current state and certainly for the kids that will grow up thinking social distance and wearing face masks is 'normal'.
I personally haven't had to deal with anything since I am out of school and right now I feel sorry for all those who have to do it within an online zoom call and try and learn shit on there. It honestly sounds horrible. It wouldn't seem right. I have seen my Mrs brother in them and half of them he misses because he is asleep, Just seems somewhat pointless and a pain. Plus now they have started going back to school and it's weird for them and it just makes me think what they are going to be like when they hit exams and stuff.

I'm majoring in Computer Science and I really struggled last year. Over the break, I read a few books and did some researching online. It seems I've improved mentally from last year and am on track for good marks (hopefully).
I finished school a bunch of time ago but i can relate to the lack of interest in zoom classes. You need to get great quality education and lets face it, digital classrooms are just not there yet.
