Hey guys,

Yesterday I found out how stupid I was to choose Crypto Com as my crypto wallet.

I wanted to buy the Purple Haze award and even a couple of them, but when I tried to purchase the 1st one, Crypto Com comes with silly error asking for a minimum spend of 0.003BTC and the Purple Haze award cost less than that.

Now, I know what you want to say.. "Move my coins, use another wallet" or something along those lines.

However, I would suggest that you could purchase X amount of same award or multiple different awards in one go, in one transaction, as that would be a nice feature to have in addition to what already exists.

Let me know what you think.

PS. if it is still possible to purchase a few Purple Haze awards, please let me know, they are gone from the awards page, right when I was in this fuzzy situation of screaming at customer service, telling them how much HF awards mean to my life and my entire existence!!!!!

PSS. for real though, if I can get it, I am ready to pay lol

I agree. Also, with BTC fees being so crazy right now, you'd have to pay fees for each transaction instead of 1.

Our entire checkout system is very basic. We've discussed making it a more complicated class to facilitate things like a shopping cart system. To do what Blockonome suggests we'd have to do a lot of work first. Not sure it's worth it.

If you want lower fees then just use Litecoin or BCH. Right now almost no one is paying in Bitcoin.

What started out as a simple checkout system for upgrades, then added some award donations, then paid stickies, then banners, then sales tags, and then featured forums. All the code functions. It's just a bit on the spaghetti side. It needs to be completely rewritten from scratch.

Maybe one day.

Just as a side note, I believe this could also generate more $$$ for HF in general, not guaranteeing anything, and not saying that should be the goal with it, however, I definitely think that would please the "market" out there for people who want to buy multiple.

remember, there isn't a lot of awards that can be stacked. The feature makes sense but you also don't have the statistical data to know if the feature is worth the pull.

For example, if a majority of users buy smaller amounts of awards (we know they do because a majority asked for $25 on the haze award) then I would venture a guess and say a small minority of users here would like the ability to purchase stacked stuff.

The rest of us are broke boi's and buy shit 1 at a time.

It would probably be worth it because I believe we'd be able to do bundle deals like Paid Sticky+Featured in one buy a lot easier. So there would be bundling potential. Then you have crypto transaction fees saving everyone a few bucks including me.

A rebuild of our checkout system might also make adding new paid features a lot easier. Right now each of those features I listed above more or less got built from scratch.

I know our current project workload, I don't see having this done for many many months if at all.

It makes sense to do it though. Just need proper timing.
