Hello HF,

I joined this wonderful forum today and found some great peeps in here. So I thought of sharing this neat technique I use when I need my writing checked.

Earlier I used paid version of Grammarly for the same, but it is too expensive to afford, specially when you're not earning much due to the pandemic and every cent counts.

So without wasting any more time, here's the simple tool you can use, and it's free.

• Copy all the text you need checked.

• Open Upwork (Yes, the freelance platform)

• Now search for jobs and click on send proposal. (If you're not eligible to send proposals, you can follow the same process but instead of proposal you will have to use the field where you edit your about section)

• Now paste the text in the field designed for cover letter (or your about section if you're going that route)

• Wait for a few seconds, you should then see red and yellow lines, similar to what you would see in Grammarly, and you also get suggestions for correction (almost exactly like I used to get while using Grammarly)

• Once you're done, you can copy the content back and paste it to a document and deliver it to your professor/boss/whoever.

If you find this trick helpful, please share it with your friends and help them save some money.

Also, I could not decide where to post it so I posted it in the lounge, I see a lots of topics being discussed here. Please let me know if this is not allowed or it needs to be put somewhere else.

Loads of love to the community! 🤩✌

Trust me, I have tried everything, and shared accounts don't last even a week. This way, I get everything done for free <3

Thanks for reading and responding 🤩
