Just wondering if any of you guys have tried ADHD pills for studying. Apparently from what I have heard from my mates, it helps you focus more and finish shit fast. There's a movie called Limitless where this guy take this pill and he become more focused and everything becomes super clear, I know the movies are exaggerated but is ADHD pills some sort of weak version of that?

So whats your experience like?
It's like being tired but having energy. Say you're working on something, it's late (you haven't taken a pill in this scenario) you're yawning, wiping your eyes cause you're tearing up from yawning so much, you're slowly notice you're getting more and more distracted. With the pill, you kind of ignore the side effects of being awake whilst being tired, and the ability to focus or put your attention into something is heightened. The whole point of an ADHD pill is to relax you while focusing your mind.
If you don't have ADHD, please don't take them. There's no need, and it's just asking to form a habit. I spent years battling addiction against Adderall, I benefitted nothing from that, all it did was fuck my head up slowly over time.
You won't be like limitless but many people do find they study better with it. As others have said, it can be pretty habit forming since it's an amphetamine.

They're called amphetamines and I used them for 5 years when I was in my early 20s to finish school and also write songs and code programs. I got addicted and it took me a while to get off of it since all my friends were taking them as well.
The first times feel pretty much like limitless (at high doses) you feel like you have infinite energy, you are 100% focused on whatever you are doing, your creativity is through the roof and your motivation is unmatched. After you get used to them, you get less euphoria but the energy and focus stay the same.
But remember that it's a drug and that every drugs have side effects and bad sides. Your tolerance will go up and you can get easily addicted.

In short, they help you stay concentrated and make boring tasks a little less boring.
I wouldn't say they make you finish shit fast, but it may feel like it was fast as it helps you stay focused with your surroundings blurred out.
I know people who take Adderall on a daily basis to focus more on their job. I'm personally against this stuff cuz as much as one thinks it helps them, it can also lead to health issues.
I think you need to investigate this some more.
There is no pill like they used in the movie limitless.
The pills that are available for people with ADHD gives you the ability to concentrate more, have more focus, speed up your brain activity, ...
But they are not like you may think as in "I take a pill and I'll be wonder guy/ girl".

What they were portraying in that movie was the substance Huperzine-a.
Huperzine-a has ben banned in use of Television Game shows.
If you really want the closest thing to what that movie is based off of, you would want to take a combination of;
Huperzine-a + Dexedrine or Adderall or Methamphetamine + Modafinil or Adrafinil + Clonidine or Gaunfacine
Keep in mind doing this at a young age will likely cause you to go in to Alzheimer's disease, which can happen even in middle age people.
Huperzine-a by itself is good to take when you have Alzheimer's, that's what I'm saving my use for haha
