Cost of getting an ecommerce website?

What is the ballpark figure to get an eCommerce website running, specifically a vps for sale website without whmcs. Including payment, order management, support functions, a little tweak in the free theme design
Hard to say really..

A 'basic' eCommerce website should have;
< Plugins (free)
< Templates & details (store, fonts, designs)
< TOS & legal content (often made by programs or lawyers)
< Payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal or whatever
< Inventory checker / buying new inventory (VPS = based on commissions I assume?)

Long story short;
You can make it as expensive as you believe is needed or you start from scratch and do it all for free.
Only costs you can't avoid (basically) are the paid ads, domain name and hosting..

Looking for something basic, I have hosting and I probably will need to pay for the domain name. Not getting ads/seo. Probably going to hire someone to set up everything since I'm in unfamiliar territory.

SEO can be done mainly on-page for free like Yoast SEO or others.
But building a Shopify would be free (up to 50 sales) which leaves you basically with paying for the domain name, hosting and perhaps some designing for the website.

What is your budget? I could create something for you and it would be a nice revenue booster for my journey here;

No budget in mind, looking around for the cost first before considering

I want to build a car.. what will that cost me?

It all depends on the brand (Shopify, Wordpress, coded from scratch) you want, what kind of features your car must have (plugins/add-ons.. do you do this yourself or the "designer"), etc., etc.
you can consider using shopify store
Cheapest way I know how to do it ($5 a month + domain name) is:
> Get a domain (namecheap is...cheap)
> Set up a digitalocean account
> When setting up a droplet use their auto-installer for Wordpress on Linux from the droplet market place
> Link your droplet to your domain by adding the digitalocean nameservers to your domain hosting, then add redirects from your domain to your droplet in digitalocean
> Follow the wordpress setup guide in a console and make sure you install letsencrypt SSL
> Once your Wordpress is running install WooComerce (Other free plugins you should get are wordfence, jetpack & really simple SSL)
> Add products to WooComerce and link your paypal
> ????
> Profit

Now that is the cheapest way, like others have said above any extras will cost you. As this way is bare minimum, no support, low bandwidth, low stability.

Bro this guy has answered your question with a question to get your answer like 5 times but you aren't even reading what he is saying and just keep giving the same response over and over. Maybe instead do your own research then since you can't process someone helping you
I don't deal on discord
