Advice Needed

Is invoicing a safe way to accept payment on paypal?

Normally I do not like taking larger payments on paypal, but this is the only option the buyer has.

He asked if I could invoice him so he is protected, which obviously I don't see a problem with, but wanted to ask what the implications are of doing this?

Given if you have someone send as goods/services they can charge back anyway, and friends/family they can sometimes win a unauthorized payment chargeback, i'm not sure if any of it would make a difference anyways.

Do you take payments via invoice? If so, what protections are there for the buyer, and the seller. Thank you! Only asking because this is off site and don't know the buyer

Imho I would never in my life accept a large payment in PayPal from anyone offsite or onsite ESPECIALLY if I don't know them. If it's from a business sure but never from a person. Paypal is absolute dog shit and you are just cruisin for a bruisin right now bro
I don't deal on discord
Honestly - there is no winning with PayPal.

I have done wrong and I have done right to people via PayPal, I have NEVER lost a refund claim.
Whether they say they never got the item etc etc. Or whether I got fucked.. Whether they claimed hacked account, whatever.

It all comes down to if both parties are good business.

BUT if you ever need help beating a case, you can always message me. 100% win rate.

Unless you're accepting money for something you can control (e.g. a service where you build a website and can take it down if he fucks you up), I'd personally avoid it.

If he charges back the key for the cod tool can be deleted, so im not stressed. Was just some dude who wanted to do invoice and said "can you put its for authentic sneakers thats what i told my grandma it would be for"

anyways, he ended up buying i think dude was just like 16 but all straight so far

Make sure you're "Seller Protection Eligible" otherwise you can get in to trouble.

I'm fairly sure it all worked out, unless they decide to charge back later on down the line. But sounded happy with the cod tool and even said "wait dude so were modders now" in the discord group with him and his little brother lmfao
