90% of the people in the crypto community think their alt coin they bought 100 of is gonna be the next thing. You should have seen the ADA, ALGO, and NANO subreddits the day Elon announced Tesla was dropping BTC as an accepted form of payment. Every thread and comment was people in their own respective bubbles jacking each other off about how they knew their coin was gonna be the next pick and it'll skyrocket in a few days.

Do your research, find what coins are trying to do the same or similar things. It's impossible to know which will be the next big thing, but if you want to make an educated guess you have to do your research.

Iirc, $10 was very optimisic after like 5-10 years.

$100? Wtf? Maybe if it were the next bitcoin, everyone knew about it, everyone used it, and it made using lots of other cryptos a waste of time/money.
