I was applying to jobs yesterday and I realized just how much information they take from you. I just had the thought, there is so many ways to scam people by creating fake jobs on Indeed, Ziprecruiter, etc. Most jobs asked me for my full name, birthday, address, phone number, email address and a bunch of other personal stuff just to send the application. This data can 100 percent be sold but that's only just getting started.
Some of the websites made me make an account on their company website to fill out an application, most applicants will be normies who will use the same password for everything and so with that username and password you can probably log into other websites they have as well. You can also pretend to be interested in hiring them and use that to get them in a skype or telegram conversation. In that conversation you can probably send them affiliate links for things or straight phishing sites to collect their data. I noticed that 2 or 3 of the applications required me to give my SSN right off the bat so I didn't bother applying to them, but I can't say everyone else did the same. There are other ways to monetize like telling them they need to familiarize themselves with some software to get started working and you send them the software and it has malware inside but honestly you can probably figure out other monetization methods yourself from this concept. I just thought I'd share it since i've never heard of anyone talking about it before on any of these forum sites. Maybe people just didn't notice it or maybe it doesn't have that much potential, who knows. Just thought I'd share it.
