Have you noticed that most of the news about cryptocurrencies is bad? Day after day bad news appears on the main news board generating exaggerated fud. Does anyone have a theory as to why this effort to discredit and create fud about the cryptocurrency world?

Probs whales buying articles to manipulate the market is my theory. (Jun 23, 2021 08:13 AM)Hamlossus Wrote: Yeah I noticed. Same thing happened in 2017 bullmarket when it was nearing it's end. IIRC exactly the opposite was the case. The bull market ended when the news where positive af, everyone was hyped and nothing could go wrong. The delusion was insane. Bullmarkets (in other areas as well) usually end on hype, not on bad news. I don't think this bull market is over, but maybe I'm delusional :D (Jun 23, 2021 08:16 AM)T0Bi Wrote: IIRC exactly the opposite was the case. Dunno dude, I remember news articles coming out about bitcoin being a huge bubble that will crash and it did crash after few weeks. I saw negative articles in my feed all the time when BTC was at it's highest
If you think that only bad news comes out about crypto, you're either just not looking or you're only getting your news from main stream news sources that have little to no concept of what's going on in the crypto world. Here's just a few pretty damn good news to come out in the past 24 hours alone:
Coinbase Approved to Enter Japanese Cryptocurrency Market Project ALFRIED, Germany's largest publically funded roadside project, will be built on IOTA Chrysalis New Bank of America Report Says Digital Currencies 'Could Boost Economic Growth' in Developing Countries (Jun 23, 2021 08:23 AM)Lilith Wrote: If you think that only bad news comes out about crypto, you're either just not looking or you're only getting your news from main stream news sources that have little to no concept of what's going on in the crypto world. I don't understand why they do it, they try to make the reality look worse than it is. It threatens to strip away massive amounts of wealth from people who have manipulated and stolen their way to the top. It threatens to transfer that wealth to everyday dumb fucks like you, me, anybody who was stupid enough to have faith that this world isn't entirely fucked. Those same people who are at risk of losing their wealth and power are people who either own and control major media sources or have heavy influence on it. They see crypto as a threat, thus they spread whatever news they can that they feel can reliably threaten crypto. P.D: And in my perception this amount of bad news has increased lately. |
