Getting High School Credits through Community College

I'm 30 years old, turning 31 in December...
I dropped out of school at 16 and I had only completed 1 semester of High School.
I looked it up and since it's free I decided I'd get my High School Education.

The ALP (Adult Learning Program) teaches you everything you need to Graduate in the span of 2 years.
I begin my first semester in September.

I was asked what I thought about a Career after High School...
I want to be a Coder, really bad, but up until now wouldn't commit to learning.

I think I would also like an Office Job, doing Spreadsheets...
But I don't know which College courses I'm going to take when I Graduate.

Statistics or higher maths would be a good option.

For which Career? Like a Trustee or a Book Keeper?

Statictian or book keeper is good or accountant, If you really want to do tech it is never too late!
Statistics and business courses may be the best course of action :)
If code is your thing then just get comfortable with learning, first.

Python is a really employable skill (atleast 30k freelance) and even more in an office setting.
Any office has things you can automate ;)

To level with you though I know quite a few friends personally have done the same type of program and came through to the other side with tons of confidence and love for life. All the best :)

very late to this thread, BUT.

I would slowly start to learn coding. Office jobs pertaining to just doing spreadsheets would just be boring after a while and not much room for growth unless you went into accounting and worked your way up.
Coding however is a very in demand job. seeing as most of the world thrives on technology there would always be room for growth and expansion. It's not an easy path since there are new things to learn with it all the time. It's one of the fastest growing occupations/trade (whatever you want to call it), But I think it would lead to a good career.
Just start exploring your options, since you said you were taking HS in a community college your door is open and I would take the opportunity to speak with their advisors about which classes to start, even if it's just cores for now.
Goodluck!
