i see this both are good competitors for forum software !

we take away the expensive prices of xenforo 500$+ and take them to a fight✌

so who wins in forum building software with high protection and pure design functions?? basicly who is the best for 2021 ?? 😎

XENFORO OR MYBB 🐱‍👤

let me know ur suggestions ! thanks

Comparing (expensive) paid software to a open-source alternative that's run by a group of useless fricks is unfair to say the least.

I quite like XenForo because of how modern it looks and feels.

That’s a really ignorant comment considering all forums can be themed however you’d like.

As nach said, you can’t really compare open source to a paid forum.

I prefer IPB over XenForo if you’re looking at paid options.

Man, I think whoever wins is who best fits your purpose. Each forum has its peculiarity, its pros and cons, so there is no one that is better, there is what will best suit you, that's how I think.

[Spore]

MyBB is better and all around looks cleaner

[RedEyed]

If you want a ready made forum then XenForo, as for a script you can build on a lot easier then MyBB.

This forum is myBB but Xenforo is easier to setup.

Imagine paying $500 for forum software...

XF has been around for a while, where as so has MyBB, truly. Neither. CodoForum is a much better forum software. Granted if I had to choose 1 or the other, XF really...much like vB.

[Biggy]

MyBB is my favorite. Just really used to it.

[Calibur]

I prefer IPB over XenForo if you’re looking at paid options.

Im thinking of making a random forum in near future and im looking over XF & IPB. Mind share some more input as to why you prefer IPB over XenForo or is just some personal choice?

[Baby]

MyBB is my favorite. Just really used to it.

Definitely a cult favorite I'd say. Classic. I'd imagine I've used mybb more than phpbb tbh.

Depends on the purpose.
Basically they all do the same job.

[Primeitup]

I have always preferred MyBB since it was free but after getting more involved in Xenforo you can tell which is more better.
