recently made a website identical in function to cannverify(dot)com (big, well known company), you can also see how it works in the last paragraph. Mine has a better UI IMO, and provides more data to the customer and client, and ultimately is more scalable and i can add features all other cannabis companies are not. I have a top tier domain, basically instead of selling the software alone i am looking for someone interested in managing everything while i continue pushing software and security updates/features. Its a multi million dollar industry (anti-counterfeit) and the cannabis industry is getting larger and larger, while counterfeits are becoming a big problem. A small brand loud pack farms spent 2.5 million dollars last year for what is essentially my software. I am looking for someone, or multiple people to work with me on getting the project some exposure, making sure any funding i put in goes in the most efficient places, and basically managing the project as a whole while collecting a % and making your way into partial shareholder of the actual LLC opening for it.

The software and core functionalities of the site are done, the content and a few other UI tweaks are in the process of getting finished, the name & domain is fucking amazing, unused, and probably the shortest, catchiest and best name on the market.

We have physical holographic tamper-proof stickers, some with just a serial code, some on a regular label with our name, website, and qr code, and we are working with a vendor right now to get us physical samples of these because it combines everything we need very nicely and safely.



What we do/Why its worth lots:

Basically if you were a dispensary or a CBD seller, your brand is very popular (lets say cookies for example), cookies has a huge issue with counterfeiting. If cookies consults this company they will be offered to get our stickers, and access to the seller dashboard where they add the products to the database (there's a whole seller guide).
Now when that company (cookies) makes their next batch of thc vapes, they will put our stickers on their existing packaging, then add that batch of vapes to the database with the corresponding data for it. When you go to buy this vape, you want to be sure it actually came from the cookies company and the dispensary isnt selling fakes. So you scan the qr code using the app or you enter the serial number into our website, then you are given all the information you would see on a normal dispensary packaging label, plus the company name and a greeting telling you that your vape is infact real, and if its the first time you've scanned it itll ask you for a 1/5 star review, if you have scanned it twice it wont ask you for a review, but instead tell you how many times its been scanned before.
You can also see the overall rating for that specific batch, all the user analytics are kept safe and secure along with feedback to give companies insights on how products are performing

its super super common, look up cookies carts, rove carts, any dispensary cart has fakes online and theyre constantly trying to combat it.
Not just carts, but look up cookies 3.5g bag and youll see dispensary bags that are fake too.

Where theres an issue, theres a needed solution and this is a solution to this growing issue, a billion dollar issue (counterfeiting market is multiple billions)

So where you're targeting this solution is at the manufacturing process right/at farms? Not dispensaries themselves.

Mostly the farms and large manufacturers, theyre mostly paying for the security, and the software and ease of use.

It goes for both the grey market and legal market, EVERYTHING is getting counterfeited in the weed industry (literally everything) and companies are spending millions scrambling trying not to loose more money, its actually pretty bad.

It would give the buyers some more sense of security, and all anti-counterfeit aside the feedback system and user analytics alone is worth something to that company

At least, I can see how both growers/retailers (dispensaries) could benefit from OPs product.

I know that there is a demand, I just need someone to create the link from my website and software, and the farms/brands. I am a software engineer, not a marketing kinda guy but i do know a good, profitable piece of software when i see one

People sell fakes in streets. Cbd stores and gas stations might have fake cookies cbd carts as well, but dispensary are pretty legit

management, and networking mostly, the business is booming and its an essential product, dispensaries in california sell fake products all the time and dont even know it, its getting bad. The dispensaries that are licensed by the state are selling fakes all over CA
