Time limit on Deal Ratings

Hey

I can see posts from 12-18 months ago discussing this and the answer was that we didn't want to do it at that time.
But I wanted to table the suggestion in case the context is different now.

It would be great if we could change a deal rating. For example, I have disputed a deal, but because the deal is greater than 30 days old, I can't change my rating from a Booyah to a Boo, unfortunately.

On one hand, it would be nice to do this, I'm not sure what the rationale is for not being able to amend it is?

On the other hand, I have disputed it and created a thread, so maybe that's enough?

But yeah - the suggestion is to consider changing/removing the time limit on deal ratings pls.

Thanks 👍
The only thing against it is pretty straightforward. Abuse. You could revenge-Boo someone from a deal over a year old, make up some bullshit story, and nobody could do anything about it if they can't prove you wrong. The staff's hands would be tied. Doubt it's gonna happen and to be honest, it's better this way.

Ah yes I didn't quite appreciate that. I see that perspective but I suppose for legitimate disputes, I'm now left unfortunately vouching for this guy when I have an issue with him "Booyah" style. That being said I do know that HF don't have any responsibility AND users can check the disputes, it's made very simple for people now, so it's not the end of the world. It's a nice to do but yes I can see there's a risk it'll be abused unfortunately.

I don't really want to create overspill here for the Lorem situation. Is what it is, we'll keep it contained in the dispute section as to not create site wide drama. 😂
Nah, contracts shouldn't be edited after it has been completed.

Yep, would destroy whatever integrity the contract system has. Just like we had gang repping back in the day, we would have this for B-Ratings.

Grammar Rays Maybe when a dispute is opened you can get an extra 7-14 days to adjust your rating from whenever the dispute was opened.

DEAL ONLY ON SITE, I DO NOT DEAL ON DISCORD.
