I am a prolific swearer.  The F word is basically just part of my vocabulary that I often am not even aware I'm cussing.

Thought I'd try out the branch feature because this post by Omni made me think of a recent situation where I didn't realize I was swearing.

I recently moved, I moved to a smaller town where a lot of older people live that are either Catholic or Christians. I was in the town centre and I entered the optician to look for some new glasses, I was blown away by the fact they were so expensive (€500 for a metal frame made by Porsche), so I said "Fuck me!, since when is metal framing so expensive?!" to which my girlfriend hit me in the head because I was swearing in front of an elderly Christian couple. I of course apologized, but it did make me realize that I swear A LOT without realizing it.

I unfortunately have a sailors mouth. I drop F-bombs damn near every other sentence.

It's common here, but I don't think of it as rude or problematic. Swear words are simply words. It's the intent behind them that give them power.

Pretty much every sentence will contain at least 1 or 2 fucks, cunts, shits ect ect.

Yeah.. I tend to drop swear words without even meaning to. They just kind of flow out naturally - especially when I’m at work and I cut my hand or smash my head. I work in HVAC so I’m in tight spaces and am bound to get banged up and swear fluently.

It depends on the situation I'm swearing in but I always try not to swear when elder people or family is around.

Depends on with what group I am. I rarely swear in front of any family members, while I swear a lot with a certain group of friends.
