I first read about Proton on Hack Forums in early September.  I began doing some research, and downloaded the Proton wallet for my phone. I bought some Proton from Kucoin and sent them to my wallet to begin short staking for a modest 4-5% APY, compounded daily. I followed some socials, and began diving deeper into the Proton ecosystem. I began picking up some NFTs on Proton Mint, their NFT service using XUSDC making the purchasing process fee-less. From there I read up about the up and coming development they have intended for their LEND token (LOAN) that is scheduled to release in November. I believe their loan token can be a direct competitor to popular defi exchanges like AAVE, Uniswap, etc. The Proton Blockchain being frictionless is likely to make waves, as did LRC Loopring did recently. I bought 1M LEND Token, around $800 at the time, by using the proton wallet and alcor exchange. It worked beautifully, I was impressed with the overall function and use of the proton wallet app android IOS.

In the month of November, they are rolling out Proton Wallet 2.0 with a fiat ramp on the Proton wallet. Marketing is beginning, a new road map is coming. Potential partnerships with metaverse projects using proton.
They currently have a lot of things in the works, but things that have the potential to make Proton a big name in the cryptocurrency space. With that being said, please do your own research!
