The title pretty much says it all but I'll explain. Say you're just going about your life and something relevant to a phrase, quote or comment from the film or TV series comes to mind that you repeat only to see either no one knows what you're talking about or that very few do?

Example, and this is a poor one I'm certain many of you will not remember nor care to try to remember. In the 1999 film "Inspector Gadget" starring Matthew Broderick, there's a scene towards the end where he is fighting his clone. In that scene, the loosely-trained real Inspector says "Go go gadget oil slick" and goes sprouting out toothpaste to the enemy, his evil clone, who states "TOOHFPASTE!? Whoo-OOH!" My sibling and I will occasionally state the line at each other as a form of "Hello" because we're the only ones that get the joke.

Anyways, just curious. Go.

When I'm passing along a message to someone and I can't remember exactly what I was supposed to tell them, I usually say Something something dark side, which is from one of the Star Wars episodes of The Family Guy.

I bring up movie quotes all the time around my gf and she has no clue wtf I am saying 😑

I also quote The Office (Michael G. Scott) constantly!!!

i do this a lot actually, quoting from movies and series. 99 times people won't hear it or recognize it :/ but thats okay.

More than film quotes, I remember and quote phrases from books more.
One of my favorites are:

"The world is full of monsters with beautiful faces and angels full of wounds..."

Unfortunately, I am not able to recall exactly which book it comes from🤣🤣🤣
