A question to everyone saying Buy buy buy

everyone keeps saying buy and hold. this confuses me.

1) how do you expect me to invest only what i can afford to lose? because if i keep investing i'm gonna hit a point real soon where i "dont have enough money to invest because i can't afford to lose that"
2) invest enough so that i can actually make a decent profit and not a 24$ profit
3) do i look like a money printing machine that can only keep buying & holding forever all the time? like how tf do i earn enough money that i can afford to lose by investing? am i supposed to ewhore people and invest that money or something?? cause thats the only way i see that i can make "fast" money and afford to lose

like for example when the dips come, i dont have money to buy the dips anymore.

also: according to binance i am in -16150.92% since mid 2020 till now, december 2021. apparently "buy and hold" brought me into MINUS sixteen fucking one hundred and fifty percent of debt within 1.5 years. thanks for your "buy and hold" financial advice

Did you take a loan from Binance or something to fall into more than 100% loss? People offer all sorts of advice, people who go by online pseudonyms and won't be held accountable for your losses. Most people suggest not investing what you can't afford to lose, which includes not taking out loans. Always DYOR and decide whether or not you either have faith in the project and team, or gamble if you think it's a useless shitcoin which will pump due to hype.
Investing is not supposed to be "fast money".
Of course it's easier to make more with more that you put in. You should only put in as much as you want to lose because no one knows if prices will go up or down. When prices go up to where you think is a "peak" for short gain, you sell some. When they dip, you buy back a little more.

You must be young. Do you have an income source like a job? Most people piss away a portion of their money on things like entertainment. That means if you cut a few percentage points off that spending and place it into investment it shouldn't ever come to the point where you need that money. Let's say you eat out three times a week, cut back to twice a week or even once a week and put that money into investing.

Quote:2) invest enough so that i can actually make a decent profit and not a 24$ profit

This is the point of holding and continuing to grow your portfolio. It might take 5-10 years for real profits to emerge but eventually they will be there and way more than $24. But if you're young then this might be a really foreign concept to you that 5 years isn't a long time to wait for a return.

Yes, you do look like a money printing machine. You get a job and make money regularly. That is how society works (or used to at least). If you're just a kid not old enough to get a job then you're also not old enough to grasp the concept of long-term investing.

That's because you invested into shitcoins with a get-rich-quick mentality. If you had bought Bitcoin there is no way you'd be down that much if at all. Did you leverage positions and buy on margin? Also stupid.

Your thread history shows of shitcoin investing.

https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6163333 Was $157 now $17, shitcoin.

Maybe you are just an idiot. Apparently you're not figuring out enough on your own. Best of luck on that.

trading is not my primary job so im not an expert at this. im a developer. im trying to learn how to trade as a side hustle but im overwhelmed by the amount of information.

also i'd like to get your personal opinion on Market Cipher. i saw it from some guy named CryptoFace who trades like 7,000,000$ a day btc and eth and livestreams it on youtube. Im not gonna buy his market cipher for 1500$ because hackernoon has published it for free with a tutorial guide here https://hackernoon.com/how-to-get-cipher...t-yb1j359c

My question is, for an unexperienced trader do you think learning only this market cipher is enough to start trading more efficiently and finally start gaining profit?

Just buy Bitcoin. hold and STFU. All you need. Stop trying to trade.
HAHA say it how it is! Love that. Everybody would love to buy a coin and the next day it's 10000% up.. but that is a bit like gambling. There are some poocoins that might do this.. but with very low liquidly or volume usually or they have gone viral. For example Meme Coins.. but now there are SOOO many of them! Like buying lotto tickets!

I have been in Crypto now since Jan 2018.. I got in after hearing the news of Bitcoin hitting it's all time high.. and decided I wanted to mine some coin. I had heard of Bitcoin and Litecoin only at the time and soon realised Bitcoin was going to be very expensive to mine at a good rate.. ASIC miners.. and I ALMOST went the Litecoin mining route.. until I researched further and decided to forget Asics and purchase GPU's .. and my Ethereum mining journey began.

From the mined Ethereum I found gaming projects to invest in.. blockchain gaming was very new.. and I saw the opportunity to get in. I purchased NFT's in a game called MegaCryptoPolis (MCP) MCP3D more recently.. and I still hold many NFT's in this game. I however was able to "flip" many and profit. I then took the profit and got into another game. in the pre sale again. ZED RUN.. flip and profit.. and well.. I did this and still do this today :P ££
I have to agree with omni after I read what you wrote you do look like an idiot.

Buy hodl and stfu and just buy buy buy (DCA) it's the easiest and non stressful strategy in trading that one can do, even mentally disabled people should be able to do this.

Applying logic and common sense: Yes if you buy shitcoins and projects that don't have a future how the hell do you expect not to lose everything? Buy hodl and stfu works only for serious projects that will become something in the future, innovation my friend.

All you complain about is that you made retarded mistakes. If you buy without DYOR or have no idea what you're doing then you should educate yourself first, research and learn not buy random shitcoins and expect to make money LMAO what kind of mentality is this?

Oh I love it when you say it.

My favorite quote.😎
if you don't have a income source and cash flow , your first priority should be to make that income, not how to invest your 100$

The problem with "just buying bitcoin and stfu" is not everyone is rich, or rich enough to afford to lose money. Yeah i can buy bitcoin and stfu but like i said whats the point of getting a profit of like 24$? obviously buying bitcoin is a good choice if you plan to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars and then you'd get an ok ROI, but what if i can afford to risk losing only a few hundred dollars? lets say 200-300, max 500$?

buying bitcoin in today's era is for whales or borderline rich or above average-wealthy people. this is the coin for the big ballers, not for me, at least not at this point in time...

my plan was to learn how to trade with these small amounts of money (200-300-500$) consistently until i earn enough money from those trades that i can reinvest into bitcoin and then start earning decent profit

You are absolutely hopeless. You will keep losing money because you're a moron.
It’s almost like you ignored every message in the thread and continued your whining.

It’s clear you’re overextended in investments and cannot afford a loss. Maybe trading isn’t for you.
As Omni has said, you need to get out of the trading mindset. Put whatever you can into Bitcoin, keep accumulating it, and in the long run you are going to do well. Even if you can only invest $25 a week into Bitcoin, do it. Hang onto for years and you’ll be happy you did. What you’re trying to do is gamble by picking a shit coin, buying a boat load for little money and hoping that it goes 100x. It’s just a gamble and you might as well just start buying scratch off tickets and PowerBalls if that’s your mindset.

Crypto shouldn’t be a get-rich-quick scheme. Yes some people have gotten lucky by buying a random coin, but it’s super rare and you risk losing much more. I’d recommend researching some coins, find something strong, and buy it.
Staff will never reach out to you off-site. We only communicate on HF.
How did you lose more than 100%? Were you naked shorting or something? What the hell.
