Can I get someones precise location through Snapchat?

Someone's trying to threaten a friend of mine through Snapchat and they have their home address. If this person actually does anything is there a way that I can get their exact location through Snapchat if I can get them to click on a link?

How accurate would it be since they are on mobile and likely not using Wifi? Or would their be a better way of doing this?

Thanks

use https://grabify.link to make an IP logger link and when you are done that, use https://www.ip-tracker.org/

Grabify works, but I don't think that the IP Tracker is legitimate. still worth a try though.

Another thing you can do is conduct a neighborhood search on this guy. It's a pretty high probability that this twat could live in your neighborhood.

That's all I can say though.

I found this with Google Search: https://www.metadata2go.com/

If they put their phone's camera geolocation on, you could download their photos and upload it to that website. It'll give you a longitude-latitude coordinate. From there, input that on Google Maps: https://maps.google.com/ and you'll see their pinpoint location based on their GPS.

Your main hurdle though is finding a photo that has their geolocation metadata on it.

Cheers!

iplogger[.]org may be your friend send them a link and if they click on it you'll get as near as you can. still going to be just locality. And only if they aren't on a VPN
It used to be possible about 3-4 years ago to reveal the location of someone on your list if they shared the location with you once before. Ever since they patched it, I haven't found a working new method ever since. Your best option might be to social engineer them to a new (and relatively less secure) service and get their location that way.

I wouldn't really rely on just an IP logger. You can sneak it in to get an idea, but it can be wildly inaccurate.
