Coin to invest

I have been out of the crypto game for a long time and now I want to know coins to throw a couple of dollars on? looking into long term coins though.
man i wish i could go back in time few months and say this and that, but now so many coins with great projects & potentials, i think if you have a big budget go with BTC otherwise check omni threads and Recon12345 replays as well as BV1 & SIM and many great authors with good predictions

Cardano is also interesting for short and long term at the moment imo

What the heck?

Anyways ETH/BTC thats it.

I believe you have to own thousands of cash to get dive into btc and eth right now, not like $200 lol
If I were to recommend any coins it would be these 3.

Elrond (EGLD)
Enjin (ENJ)
Crypto.com Coin (CRO)

Not going to go too deep into WHY, however, I am sure you will do your own research on these, I definitely advise you to.

But all of these 3 has showed good strength, throughout their respected time and has a roadmap for continuous development.

Long on XRP? Really?

Check out Radix, XRD or eXRD. It's game changing and has insane potential, Alexandria release yesterday however I think the release of Babylon will be more bullish than the run up to Xi'an.

Don't buy XRP. It's been shilled to death since the last bullrun about how all the banks will use it, low cost and a "programmed" price of $10,000 lol, payments are super fast and cheap, etc.
Most of their speculation is borderline conspiracy theories, including how the "level playing field" was big players hinting at XRP mass adoption all the way to Christine Legarde being an insider and pushing XRP to her banker friends. It's dead in the water.
Personally I would buy sandbox to hold, but I don't have any info on why.
I think it's because a meta verse coin.
I suggest EXRD, current price $0.29 if the market picks back up it should be an easy 2x back to $0.60 before 2022.

Long-term hold maybe ETH or BTC as it could reach $100k sometime next year.

The Simpsons never lie, XRP to $589 🙃

$0.589

We'll have to wait to see which way it goes :)

Why the fuck do people think that you need more $ to invest in BTC and ETH than in other coins?
It doesn't make sense.

Do you want to invest or do you want to gamble? I'm completely serious, everyone here should ask themselves this question.

Check out the top 10 or top 100 coins after each bull run. How many survived a bear market?  How many came near their own ATH?
If you want to invest long term, you have to assume that you'll go through a bear market.

A good investor tries to minimize risk and not maximize return (gambling).

L1l DuRk If you want to invest long term 90+% of your portfolio should be BTC and ETH.

Seriously? if he had 1000$ and invested for long term lets say:

RADIX: when radix hit 2$ he'll be making: $5 666.67 (566.667%)
BTC: when bitcoin hit 200000 he'll be making: $3 139.78 (313.978%)

this is why we recommended him to check altcoins instead of btc in case he had small budget

Thanks for the swift and honest reply though, I have always been after my return and this is an eye-opener will think like a businessman.

I have been looking into this as well and I think it has a good prospect but I don't know if it is the right time to go for this or to wait for more dip?

?

If he had $1000 and invested for long term lets say:

RADIX: when radix hit 0.01$ he'll be losing: $967 (- 97%)
BTC: when bitcoin hit 200000 he'll be losing: $587 (- 59%)

this is why I recommended him to check solid coins, no matter the budget.

I can pull random numbers out of my ass as well.

The budget doesn't fucking matter.
If it would, it would actually be the other way around. Someone who can only invest small amounts should make sure that he doesn't lose everything.. There's a reason they can not invest as much.
Someone with lot's of spare money can take more risks.

Top 10 over the years.

And now check here how far most tokens are from their ATH and when it was: https://cryptorank.io/ath

You'll notice a trend.

Edit: Ya'll have never seen an actual bear market. If you had, you wouldn't recommend alts as long term investment.

Metaverse coins are dirt cheap. So it honestly doesn't hurt holding some of them for long term. In my opinion since they have the potential to explode as VR/metaverse grows and becomes more in out lives. You might lose a bit but you could gain a lot more.

But yes, always hold solid coins that's a no brainer.
