Closing notes
We really want to thank everyone for listening to the podcast. It's really motivating for us, and we hope you all like this episode. Even though we love everyone's enthusiasm, please do not bot our views - this actually only hurts our reach for legit traffic. We apologize for the delay! We might move publishing to Wednesday for the rest of the episodes.
I am really sorry that my mic sounded bad. Not until they shared the video with me was I aware of the terrible quality. I have since bought a new headphone w/mic that I hope is much better for any future recordings I might do.

Haha no problem. Yeah that was one I wanted clarity on for sure. I’m sure it was the straw that broke the camel’s back but I wouldn’t mind seeing him around again.

Maybe if he gets a ban on SRPP and censors the fuck out of him.

I would be curious to see HF's official mission/vision statement if Omniscient were ever to release an un/official one.
All three of you are very good conversationalists, but False King brings up an excellent point at 17:30, society's perspective heavily influences censorship and is such a driving factor in what's "allowed" and what's not depending on the piece of the world you live in which causes not only a social divide, but a cultural divide too. But my question is, where is the limit until it begins infringing on peoples' personal rights and freedoms?
I believe people as a whole are beginning to recognize the impact of social structure. Before--Government was all powerful and not to be opposed; and now, with the information/reputation age coming into maturity, we are starting to break out and take things that also used to be illegal(smoking weed) and normalizing it. And through the 'power' of normalization and lack of online censorship allowing them to push social agendas via guerilla marketing campaigns, we are injecting social norms at a rapid rate. From a government perspective, why wouldn't they want to censor this?
FK also brings up an excellent point at market monopoly at 49:00, about bigger tech buying threats to their infrastructure and letting it die as a business is counter productive and further pushes the censorship agenda, imo. It brings us back to Economics, how The wealth of nations, and Keynes contributions by public acceptance divided public and private sector businesses from creating absolute monopolies.
I like how he touched on clarification of closed/banned accounts, too and the forgiveness depending on the severity of it. I don't believe it's necessarily censorship, but mediating and minimizing impact of negativity for the community as a whole.
All in all, I really really enjoyed this. I can let these play while doing my mindless work in the morning and am looking forward to other editions.
Thanks for the awesome feedback man. We do try to discuss subjects in which we can have both fun, as a serious discussion and open forum to share thoughts. It unites people, and that's one of our core values as a group.
When it comes to subjects like this, it walks a very thin lane IMO. I still haven't made my mind up on a lot, also because I doubt if there is a solution. Sometimes I think absolute freedom is great, at other moments, I also see the dangers in it. It's one of those subjects where the main discussion isn't being held on facts, but rather on biased rationality/emotions.

We're staying steady for sure! Basically, all of us are new to this, so we're figuring everything out along the way, which is an awesome thing to do. So people will also see some experimenting in episodes with the format, how we structure things, etc. Feedback like this really helps with that.

Very glad to hear!
I also have a sneak peek for everyone for next week: It has something to do with Santa's Beard, actual fire, and Sly Cooper - make sure to check it out next week!
Great job on the podcast to all of you, kept me engaged through-out the whole video and touched on some really interesting topics. Really appreciated the flow of discussion and the authenticity in the expression of opinions.
