I have about 100 dollars btc as a gift. Should I hold it or just sell it? I really don't want to lose it all but what are the likely chances I make anything off of it?
I don't know much about crypto, when to buy and sell, and I don't understand trading.
I don't know anything much about crypto either, and I also have a little bit of BTC, and I'm holding. Mainly because I'm lazy! For small amounts like that, unless you really need the money, I'd just stick.

I feel the same, but honestly I'm too lazy for crypto trading, and I figure that's it's not the dumbest idea in the world to just have some crypto, you never know what might happen to the value.

Lol, yeah, imagine this was new years eve 2011 rather than 2021, and you'd asked that question, and I'd been like, nah dude, sell that shizz and go out and get razzed!
Best cash it in as I cant see BTC going up really it has been going down for the last week or so.

Are you looking at 2 different currencies one maybe in $ and the other in £ maybe?

It was Cad and usd lol. I can't sell on blockchain so I transferred to coinbase.

Say BTC were to hit 100k, you'd end up having more or less 100 bucks more, and I quite frankly don't think that's the profit you're looking for especially considering it might take a good while before that happens - in fact some say it might not even happen.
I think people are banking on the fact no one thought it would reach 60k but yah I agree. I don't plan on doing any real investments into crypto right now. But maybe when btc drops I may buy a good chunk

This is true, but if you get $100 BTC as a gift, what if next year you get another $100, and then another, etc. That if it hits 100k in 10 years, suddenly not so bad. That's my thinking anyway, if you don't desperately need it for food or something, why not just wait and see. If it crashes, meh, who cares.
