If anything people in the world who don't have children are doing it right, the cost for children these days is getting higher and higher, and if anything this planet has enough people living on it right now I remember when the whole planet had six billion people on it and it was going crazy about overpopulation, fast forward to now we are nearing eight billion. That said, if the desire is there in the future and I live somewhere men have equal family rights I'll reproduce in the future. If I want it. I have precisely zero duties to humanity or even my country, certainly not considering the way things are going. Hopefully my would-be children can appreciate my intentions of protecting them from it all.

In my opinion that's self suicide. I see the reasoning but we can never hope to solve the problems facing our civilization if we take that attitude en masse.
