First time I listened to this, I found this lady singing what sounds like mad (almost seemingly unintentional) accidentals. But a few days ago I just left it on repeat for about four hours and now cannot get enough of it. That aside, some of you are likely more extreme audiophiles than myself. Do her vocal notes sound unintentionally off? Or do I just have a weird/skewed perception of this particular song? Like some yanny laurel shit?

I think it's intentional. A lot of folk singers add things like this to their vocals. Plus the guitar is repetitive so she needs to makes the song with her vocals mostly.
