I want to know more information about SEGA dreamcast and why it is named dreamcast. I played one several years back and I'm confused about the purpose of it and why it was named the name it is.

It was a games console back in the day. Why was it called 'Dreamcast'? Well, why is Donkey Kong called Donkey Kong when he's clearly not a donkey? It's probably because Sega is a Japanese company, and they couldn't call it 'babbling brook in fallen forest'.

I remember the SEGA dreamcast logo that is swirling is also used for hypnosis. What does SEGA dreamcast have to do with hypnosis?
