You're probably correct. But given the way things are going, there will be a `need` for it eventually.

With every bull cycle comes more and more adoption (especially this time around with the NFT craze). Definitely think if software development is your niche, you should do blockchain development. It's a growing industry and is almost a guarantee on a big salary if you get some experience. Already have the big name companies working on blockchain technology - only a matter of time until there is a large demand, followed by a large supply of developers (IMO).

I had a second look and quite honestly, nope. Blockchain Dev is growing, with a mix of languages from Haskel, Rust, Solidity.. I think its reasonable to group these conversations under a blockchain category.

I can see creating this and then we all wait for threads that matter. Only they never come. And the section is dead almost immediately. I'm willing to consider it. HF needs some serious restructuring. Just not ready to pull the trigger.

The vote was more in favor of keeping hf hf, but for nostalgia reasons. I voted for the rebrand.

Yeah I personally felt the rebrand would've done a lot of favors in the long run of things. But as he had mentioned before, a rebrand that heavy could literally kill the site. Nothing wrong with waiting for the right moment for it.
