Prefix this with a caveat. First, it's an ad for Alexa pulled from Twitter. Normally I find these really annoying and don't watch but I'll be honest I'm a Scarlett Johansson fan. The fact she's married to Colin Jost is just hilarious to me. I'm envious and consider him the luckiest husband on Earth. Also, I would never have a voice activated Alexa product in my home.
Pretty amusing, these things are too creepy, I get why people like these / enjoy them but I'd also never get a device that's basically always listening.
Funny how they are using this as being careful what you think because it's reading your mind. But really you're adding a device that is listening to every word you say and potentially recording it. I bought an Alexa Echo. Never hooked it up once I realized I was installing a listening device into my living room. No thanks.
Honestly this is actually pretty funny, if it wasn't also bittersweet because even though it can't read minds YET, it does listen to everything. It is a potential national security risk. What if the government got its hands on the data, and just started monitoring you based on what you say in the privacy of your own home?
Maybe it's naive to think that this doesn't happen already though. Pretty sure it does.
I will agree that Colin is definitely a lucky man!
