Javascript creating dynamic infographics, reports, data presentation

I need to add some functionality to an application that allows a bit of visualisation of data - nothing as complicated as something like Canva, but you take user input, and then create coloured boxes with the user's text in them, that has to fit on a page, that kind of thing. I'm also interested in some modest infographic something from dynamic data.

I've used chartjs before, that's pretty good, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips or ideas on npm packages or tutorials, or anything of that nature around 'data visualisation' in javascript, and how you persist the data? Is it very complicated? How would you create an application like Canva, for example?

Thanks.
