Is there a lot of steps involved with uploading a picture?
Like with a 3rd party app its usually 2-3 taps to get a picture uploaded, would you say its of similar ease ?

No, there are not many steps involved in the process. I would say there is a similar amount of taps between the two.

If this isn't by using stickers or uploading videos / photo to memories then I don't understand how you could do this inside of Snapchat.
